Cashew nut exports increased by more than 13% in the first quarter of 2021
The Import and Export Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade) said that the export volume of cashew nuts in the first quarter of 2021 reached 108 thousand tons and 634 million USD; increased 13.2% in volume over the same period in 2020.

In which, it is estimated that cashew nut exports in March 2021 reached 41 thousand tons, worth 240 million USD, increased by 86.5% in volume and 88.2% in value compared to February 2021. However, compared to the same period of the last year, it decreased by 6.8% in volume and 22.5% in value.
In the first quarter of 2021, the cashew nut exports are estimated to reach 108 thousand tons and 634 million USD, increased 13.2% in volume but decreased 5.8% in value over the same period in 2020.
The average export price of cashew nuts in March 2021 was estimated at $5,854/ton, increased by 0.9% compared to February 2021, but decreased by 16.9% compared to March 2020.
In the first quarter of 2021, the average export price of cashew nuts was estimated at 5,862 USD/ton, decreased by 16.8% over the same period in 2020.
The statistics also show that our country currently exports cashews mainly to the US, China, Netherlands, Canada, and Germany markets.
